As the creative lead, Art Director, and Designer for the Converse Pride 2024 Collection, I helped guide the global brand team with our creative director, to step away from a traditional commercial approach of pride. We focused on intimate, individual storytelling, handpicking real couples, working directly with them and ensuring that this year's campaign was a true reflection of love and boldness—a direct response to a world that so often tries to push them into a box to hide. Every visual element was meticulously crafted to honor these deeply personal narratives while remaining highly versatile, scaling seamlessly across global digital, OOH, retail, and experiential brand activations.

There is no newness in sameness.

In a world that tells us who we are allowed to be, there are those who defy those expectations - the pioneers of queer joy who unapologetically push into and create space for themselves and those like them. Space for love. Space for belonging. Space for joy.

Our 2024 collection is inspired by trailblazing 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals past, present and future who never accept the world for what it is.  The bold. The daring. The fiercely independent.

This is a celebration of standing in the power of being ourselves, unapologetically.

We belong in any space and in every place.

We are proud to be.

Manifesto

Photography // Cully Wright

The first time we met Cully, we knew immediately that he was the one we wanted for pride. He had created this body of work the year prior that was called “Love stories”, He had’t shot anything for it in a I think two-three years, and I remember speaking with him over zoom and he was telling us how he didn’t think that a body of work that had drained him at the time, would ever be considered as a reason for him to get reached out to now. His vision, his love, and his determiniation to make this campaign come to life was so beautiful, and he stood out in a sea of people we spoke out too. It was such an honor and pleasure to work together! Some snippets of our time in LA while we shot together.
